In this era of the #metoo movement & #timesup, I have noticing more awareness for sexual harrassment, abuse, rape & domestic violence. I am also painfully aware of men that have had similar experiences as children, adolescents & adults but often don't share because of shame & stigma.
I think it is important that we empower our kids & create an open conversations with them about feelings, boundaries, trusting your instincts & respecting others.
